Asbjorn Rudolph Lunde was a lawyer, philanthropist, and art collector. Lunde gave work to the Metropolitan Art Museum, The Francis and Sterling Clarke, and The National Gallery of Australia.
Lunde owned work by, among others, Alexandre Calame, Johan Christian Clausen Dahl, Peder Balke, Thomas Fearnley, Knud Andreassen Baade.
