Frederick Arthur Chapman was an art dealer/auctioneer who worked for the American Art Association, National Art Galleries, and New England Galleries, Chapman sold and estimated $28,000,000 worth of artwork during his career.
Chapman's father, Henry T. Chapman (1837-1912), was an art collector and his wife was Marion Richardson Chapman (m. 1900).
