Sixty pictures from Kohn's collection sold by George A. Leavitt & Co in 1874.The sale included work by, among others, Xavier De Cock, Schmidt, Escosura, Vibert, David Col, Andreas Achenbach, Turner, Bonifazi, Brillouin, Lambron, Tissot, Calame, Madrazo, Delacroix, Baron Henry Leys, Frimin Girard, Kaemmerer, Moreau, Church, Kensett, Bellows and Richards.

George A. Leavitt & Co. sold work from Kohn’s collection over four different sales in 1874, 1877, 1882, and 1883, which all together totaled $93,242.50.
