He and his wife, Andriane “Andrea” Bollt (1933–2010), formed an art collection that included work by, among others, Alexander Calder, Franz Kline, Joan Miró, Yves Klein, Philip Guston, Josef Albert, Yves Klein, and Jacques Lipchitz.
