David M. Daniels was an art collector, patron, Trustee of Minneapolis Society of Fine Arts and President of the Drawing Society.
Daniels collected 19th century paintings & drawings from France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, and America. His collection included work by François Bucher, Edgar Degas, Adolph von Menzel, Paul Baudry, Pierre-Jean David d ‘ Angers, Jules Clément Chaplain, Benini, Tiepolo, Watteau, Manet, van Gough, and Munch.
Daniels sold portions of his collection in London, 1978, and New York, 1995 and 2002.
