historical notes Francine Seders (born 1932) was an assistant at the Otto Seligman Gallery in Seattle's University District. After Otto Seligman died in 1966, Seders took over the gallery. In approximately 1974 she changed the name to Francine Seders Gallery and later moved it from the University District to the Greenwood neighborhood. The gallery showed work of artists from the Pacific Northwest, California, and Europe.
