Holston was an art dealer who acted as the American representative for the Paris art firm Durand-Ruel.
He was instrumental in the selling of Impressionist paintings to such collectors as Duncan Phillips and Albert C. Barnes. Later, he opened the Holston Gallery at 19 East 57th Street in New York City. |
