Susan (née Rosenberg) and Herbert S. Adler formed a collection of American graphic arts: drawings, pastels and watercolors.
The collection includes work by, among others, Louis Lozowic, William Michael Harnett, Winslow Homer, Childe Hassam, Mary Cassatt, Thomas Dewing, Robert Henri, William Glackens, John Sloan, and Everett Shinn. Maurice Prendergast, Arthur B. Davies, Paul Cadmus and Lilian Hale, Elie Nadelman, Maurice Sterne, Joseph Stella, George Bellows, Oscar Bluernner, John Marin, Louis Lozowicks, Thomas Hart Benton, Isabel Bishop, Reginald Marsh, Ben Shahn, Robert Vickrey, and Charles White.
