Howard Lipman: art collector; Jean Lipman: art editor and writer: New York, N.Y. Jean died 1998.
Included in the Lipman's collection were works by David Smith, Louise Nevelson and Sandy Calder.
The Lipman's sold part of their folk art collection in 1981 to the Museum of American Folk Art in Manhattan. Other works from their folk art collection went to the New York State Historical Association at Cooperstown, N.Y.
