acquisition informationM.R. Schweitzer acquired the Augustus De Forest collection (1910-1935), the Julius H. Weitzer collection (1920-1960), and the Pascal M. Gotterdam collection (1910-1970), and incorporated them into the Schweitzer Gallery files and library. The Schweitzer files and library are now part of the Brooklyn Museum Library Collections.
