Biographical/Historical note:
Charles Edward Rand ran the Bay Restaurant with William Cole, worked for Sim & Co., dealers in produce and grain, acted as agent for the Star Line Packets, and owned his own produce firm, Stevens, Rand, & Co.

Three of the letters are written on pictorial letter sheets.
