| description | The Center Street Gallery was created by Jeanette McKean in 1945 to celebrate local art and make it available to the community. The Gallery was first located in a small corrugated metal building on Center Street, which runs parallel to Park Avenue. A few years later, the Gallery move to Park Avenue and expanded its offerings to include furniture, decorative accessories, interior design services, and gift items. The Gallery closed in 1994.
