Among the authors are John Adams, William Cullen Bryant, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Desiderius Erasmus, Horace Greeley, Washington Irving, Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, William Henry Seward, Frederick Douglass, George Washington and the Marquis de Lafayette. |
