Xavier Fourcade, Inc was founded in 1970 by the French American art dealer Xavier Fourcade (1926–1987).
Artists that were represented by the gallery included, among others, John Chamberlain, Michael Heizer, Willem de Kooning, Joan Mitchell, Malcolm Morley, Walter de Maria, Tony Berlant, Georg Baselitz, Dorothea Rockburne, Catherine Murphy, Raoul Hague, Louise Bourgeois, Kevin Moss, Tony Berlant, William Crozier and Magdalena Abakanowicz.
Xavier Fourcade represented the estates of artists, including H. C. Westermann, Arshile Gorky, Tony Smith (jointly with Paula Cooper Gallery), Barnett Newman, and Eva Hesse.
