George Albert Zabriskie was a collector of paintings, including Hudson River School and watercolors.
George Albert Zabriskie was from a family tree that traced its New World roots back to 1662 the Revolution. Zabriskie worked in the flour business, serving as the New York representative for the Minneapolis-based Pillsbury flour mills.
Zabriskie was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and served as president of the New York Historical Society.
