Cole’s collection included sculpture by Charles Russell, Frederic Remington, James Earle Fraser, Alexander Phimster Proctor, Malvina Hoffman, H.A. MacNeil, A.A. Weinman and other important American sculptors. Thomas Gilcrease purchased Cole’s collection in 1947.
