Architect, and collector, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
Eero was born in Helsinki, Finland, son of architect Eliel Saarinen.
Eero Saarinen received a B.F.A. from Yale University in 1934. He was the architect for buildings at Drake University, MIT, Concordia College, and Yale University. Saarinen also designed buildings for IBM and General Motors. He received awards for his furniture designs in 1940 and 1953, and five First Honor awards from the American Institute of Architects in 1955 and 1956.
